Supervisor (Equipment& Asset Management Office) - School of Music (Ref. 2025/228/01)
Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and enhance institutional frameworks pertaining to equipment and asset management, including fixed asset procurement, fixed asset management, and piano room administration, to ensure efficient allocation and acquisition of equipment assets.
2. Collect, review, and validate procurement requirements; formulate procurement plans; manage and apply for procurement budgets; and coordinate end-to-end planning of procurement initiatives.
3. Conduct market research for fixed asset acquisitions, prepare procurement documentation and feasibility reports, and facilitate the completion of procurement justification processes.
4. Manage the initiation of fixed asset procurement projects (including declarations for import and procurement methods), oversee tender and bidding activities, and administer contract execution.
5. Establish and maintain ledgers for fixed asset procurement, monitor contract performance throughout the procurement lifecycle, and ensure successful project acceptance and documentation archiving.
6. Lead the coordination and resolution of procurement-related discrepancies, inquiries, and complaints across various operational contexts.
7. Coordinate additional duties within the Equipment and Asset Management Office and provide support in reviewing documentation for other college procurement activities.
8. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher, with a background in procurement, equipment, and asset management.
2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including involvement in government procurement projects and hands-on experience in equipment asset management and coordination.
3. Familiarity with procurement management, equipment and asset management practices, as well as relevant government procurement policies and regulations.
4. Strong cost control awareness and capabilities, with excellent organizational and planning skills, communication and negotiation abilities, and problem-solving competence.
5. Strong service orientation, positive work attitude, adherence to assignments, outgoing personality, effective communication skills, and a collaborative team spirit.
6. Ability to work under pressure and demonstrated proficiency in implementing standardized processes and procedures.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
