Executive Officer (Publicity Office) - School of Music (Ref. 2025/224/01)
Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Create and produce content for the School’s new media platforms.
2. Plan, shoot, and edit video content for promotions.
3. Manage School’s promotional equipment and related facilities.
4. Maintain media relations and coordinate external media communications.
5. Collaborate in organizing School’s major events, with the goal of enhancing the institution’s brand image and public visibility.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chinese, Journalism, Communication, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience. Prior experience in the media industry or relevant fields is highly desirable.
2. Demonstrated ability in event planning, execution, and organizational coordination. Strong writing skills with the ability to independently manage the full planning cycle of events and produce high-quality written materials. Familiarity with and understanding of public relations and promotional work is preferred.
3. Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese and English. Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
4. Skilled in WeChat official account layout and formatting. Strong visual design capabilities; proficient in using graphic design and layout tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
5. Candidates with experience in photography, videography, and video editing are preferred. Familiarity with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and After Effects is a plus.
6. Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly responsible. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to execute tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
8. A strong learner who continuously seeks growth and excellence in professional performance.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
