About the Speaker

Li Liu, a Ph.D. in Composition from the Central Conservatory of Music, is an associate researcher at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music and is currently associated with the Southwest Music Research Center, a key research institute. He has held significant positions in the music industry, including serving as the music director for the "Western School Song Project," the "13th Anniversary Time Ceremony Symphony Concert" organized by NetEase, and the executive music director for the historical drama "Fengyan San Guo." His chamber music compositions have been performed internationally in the United States, Canada, and South Korea, as well as in various cities across China. His works have been featured at prominent international music festivals and national exhibitions, such as the ISCM International New Music Festival, Beijing Modern Music Festival, "The 9th China Arts Festival Opening Ceremony," and "Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China Symphony Performance." Liu Li's compositions are published by several renowned domestic publishing houses, including the People's Music Publishing House and the Central Conservatory of Music Press. His diverse oeuvre encompasses a range of genres, with notable works such as chamber pieces, symphonies, and large-scale Chinese orchestral compositions.
