In the fiery May of Shenzhen, a dynamic chemical reaction between voices and orchestral forces is about to ignite. The grand finale of the annual orchestra season "C-reaction" will take place at 20:00 on Friday, May 9. This groundbreaking concert centered around the pitch and key "C," will unite the Sinfonia, our undergraduate symphony orchestra, and the Choral Singing Class to perform a symphonic ode.  

Conducted by Zhuorui DENG, Assistant Professor (Teaching), and Xiaoyu XU as Choir Master from the Conducting Division, this concert will feature three first-year graduate students from the Opera & Voice Division and a choir combined with all Choral Singing Class students and Shenzhen Chunni Choir. Following the recent collaboration with the Shenzhen Senior High School Symphony Orchestra, this marks another artistic fusion between the academy and the community. Audiences will experience Haydn's timeless masterpiece The Creation — a bold artistic adventure brought to life by first and second-year undergraduates — and Bruckner's sacred cappella choral work Locus iste, jointly performed by the orchestra and chorus. Together, they promise a multidimensional classical journey, etching unforgettable sonic memories onto the stage of the campus.
