NIE Bing, who graduated from Shenyang Conservatory of Music, is currently serving as chairman of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra artistic committee. He is a national first-class performer, vice president of the League of China Orchestras, president of Shenzhen Musicians Association, and trustee of Shenzhen People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Mr. NIE was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award of the League of China Orchestras in 2023.

In September 1986, he was transferred to the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. His performances spread all over the world. He is a highly praised and recognized violinist with profound learning.
